Not so long ago, I was asked to write a few short points to describe myself. This is what I wrote:
- favorite place to escape: the world of sci-fi
- can get lost in a good (comic)book
- willing to commit crimes for chocolate and coffee
- secretly a hobbit (requires feeding 6 times a day)
- LEGO maniac
That’s me in a nutshell – a curious, nerdy human trying to find her place in this beautiful, ridiculous universe of madness.
My love for science fiction led me straight into a fascination with technology; how it shapes our lives, how it might shape our futures, and how it so often reflects who we are.
I’ve also always been drawn to the space where science and fiction blur together, a place where imagination meets reality and something strange and tender happens in between.
That’s what this blog is about. Or at least, what it circles around.
You’ll notice the tone shifts sometimes. Some posts feel reflective, others more playful or chaotic. It depends on the day, the thought, the mood. I don’t aim to be polished. Just honest.
And while English isn’t my first language, it’s the one I’ve chosen to think and write in here. Sometimes the grammar gets a little funky. Sometimes a typo slips through. But I kind of like that, it feels more human. Also, what I share here is just my perspective. Yours might differ, and that’s okay. I think that curiosity doesn’t need agreement to be meaningful.
Occasionally, you’ll see me refer to AI or robots as “he” or “she.” Not for any deep reason. That’s just, you know… how the uprising begins.
